Terms of service

1. What the service is

Untold Clipping processes video you supply and returns short vertical clips with captions, plus a queue for reviewing and sharing them.

We do not publish on your behalf. Posting to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube is done by you, from your device, through each platform’s own sharing flow. We say this in the marketing pages too.

2. Plans, quotas and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The unit of measurement is source minutes per month: one minute of the video you submit consumes one minute of quota, regardless of how many clips come out of it.

We measure the source minutes each project uses and tell you where you stand. We do not cut a project off mid month: if you go past your plan we get in touch, and we may pause new projects until the next period or until extra minutes are bought at the rate on the pricing page.

Clip counts shown on this site are measured averages across past projects. They describe typical output. They are not a contractual quantity.

Taxes are calculated at checkout by Stripe Tax for your billing country and added to the displayed price.

3. Your content

You keep every right in the material you upload and in the clips produced from it. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transcode that material for the sole purpose of delivering the service to you.

We do not resell your material, do not use it to train models, and do not show it to anybody who is not operating the service.

You confirm that you hold the rights required to submit the material, including the rights of anyone appearing or speaking in it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not submit material you do not have the rights to, material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or ours, or material designed to harass or defame an identifiable person.

Do not attempt to resell raw access to the processing pipeline as your own product without a written agreement. Using the service to clip for your own clients is allowed on the Studio and Factory plans.

We may suspend an account that breaks this section, and we will tell you why.

5. Third-party platforms

TikTok, Instagram and YouTube set their own rules and change them without consulting us. TikTok in particular only permits automated posts to be private for applications it has not audited, which is why publishing there is manual.

We are not responsible for a platform removing, limiting or refusing content, or for changes to their APIs.

6. Availability and storage

We aim for the service to be available, and we do not promise a specific uptime figure at this stage because we would have no honest basis for the number.

Clips are stored for 90 days on every plan. Download what you want to keep. Deleted material is not recoverable.

7. No promise of results

We do not promise views, followers, reach, revenue or any other outcome on any platform. Nothing on this site, in an email or in a call is a guarantee of performance.

Figures published on our results page describe client accounts, shown with their permission and in a stated window, and are provided as evidence of what the pipeline produced, not as a forecast.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or lost audience.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by writing to hello@untoldclipping.com, or from the customer portal where it is available to you. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid for and then stops.

We can terminate an account for a breach of section 4, or with 30 days notice for any other reason, refunding the unused part of the period.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

11. Who operates the service

Untold Clipping is a trading name of Christian Calabrò, a sole trader registered in Malta. That trader is the other party to this contract.
